We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Tarps.com. Please read our return policy carefully before making your purchase.
Return Period
We offer a 30-day return policy. You have up to 30 days from the date of receipt to request a return. All returns require prior authorization — items sent without an approved return authorization number (RA#) will not be accepted.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, unworn, unaltered, and in the same condition you received it.

It must include all original packaging, tags, and accessories.

Returns that do not meet these criteria may be refused.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable, including:

Custom or made-to-order products including canvas and vinyl products.

Special order items

Open tarp packages (once opened, tarps cannot be returned)

Full Canopy sets & portable garages (unless defective)

Return Authorization Process
To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@tarps.com or call us directly.
Once your request is reviewed and approved, you will receive:

Instructions for returning your package
Packages returned without authorization will be refused.
We recommend you keep your return shipping tracking number from your carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) to confirm delivery to us.
Restocking Fees
All returns may be subject to up to a 15% restocking fee, determined at the discretion of our returns department. Refunds will be issued for the original purchase price only, minus:

Shipping charges to our returns department are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a verified defect or seller error.
Damages and Defective Products
Inspect your items upon delivery. You must notify our customer service team within 14 business days of receiving your order if there are:

Incorrect shipments
If an item is found to be defective upon inspection, we’ll replace it at no cost or issue a full refund (minus original shipping) as appropriate. Damage caused by usage, negligence, improper installation, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear is not covered.
Refused Packages & Delivery Responsibility

Refused packages will incur a refusal fee and both the original and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Customers are responsible for being available at the delivery location when a signature is required. Items returned due to unavailability will not be eligible for a refund of original shipping costs and may incur additional carrier fees.
Returns for Change of Mind
If you’d like to return an item because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong size, you are welcome to do so — provided it meets our return eligibility criteria.
You’ll be responsible for return shipping. Once received and inspected, we’ll notify you if your refund has been approved. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method, excluding any shipping or restocking fees. Please note it may take some time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
Acts of Nature & Intended Use
We are not responsible for product damage caused by wind, rain, snow, storms, or other acts of nature. All tarps and canopy covers should be properly secured and maintained to prevent damage. Using our products in ways inconsistent with their intended use or installation instructions may void any return eligibility.
